Barbados – A fundraising dinner was held by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados in January 2014 at the British High Commissioner’s residence. The Frédérique Constant watch has been presented to 212 guests by a local celebrity and experts gave presentations about the burden of CVD in women and children to the attendees. This event raised funds to finance a healthy camp for children with heart conditions. Two defibrillators have also been donated to local communities.
