Getting Started

1. DOWNLOAD THE MMT-365 APP

ON THE APP STORE OR GOOGLE PLAY

To get started with your E-Strap, download and install the MMT-365 app on your smartphone.

2. CONNECT YOUR E-STRAP

TURN THE BLUETOOTH ON
  1. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Launch the MMT-365 app.
  3. Place your smartphone close to your E-Strap.
  4. Press the button on the E-Strap.
  5. Press the start button on the MMT-365 app.
  6. When the E-Strap has been found, press the E-Strap button.

3. CREATE A PROFILE

ENTER YOUR INFORMATION

Once the E-Strap has been paired with the MMT-365 app, you need to create a profile with your information:
– Your gender
– Your height
– Your weight
– Your birthday

Then you need to set your Activity goals (in steps per day) and Sleep goals (in hours per night).

4. USING YOUR E-STRAP

TRACK YOUR ACTIVITY AND MONITOR YOUR SLEEP

Wear your E-Strap during the day to track your daily steps.
You can follow your progress towards your Activity goal by checking the results on your smartphone.

Wear your E-Strap at night to monitor your sleep.
You can follow your progress towards your Sleep goal by checking the results on your smartphone.

To switch between Activity and Sleep Modes, push and hold the E-Strap’s button for 3 seconds. If the led is green, you are in Activity Mode. If the led is orange, you are in Sleep Mode.

How long does the battery last?

The battery lasts up to 7 days with, regular daily usage. The battery can be recharged with a provided charge station.

When will the E-Strap be available?

We’ll be able to ship the Frederique Constant E-Strap in September (free shipping worldwide).

Is the E-Strap water resistant?

The buckle is splash/rain resistant. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkelling, water related work and fishing. (UTM 3 classification). To keep the leather strap in good condition for as long as possible, we recommend to generally avoiding contact with water and humidity to prevent discolouration and deformation.

How can I charge my E-Strap?

The E-Strap can be charged using the small provided charger and USB cable that come in the packaging. As the battery last for up to 7 days, you won’t have to worry about recharging it often. We recommend recharging the E-Strap at night as it can take a few hours to fully recharge.

What OS and devices is the E-Strap compatible with?

The E-Strap works with iOS (9.1+) and Android (5+) via the MMT-365 app, available on the App Store. It works with iPhone, iPad and some Android tablets.

How do I pair the E-Strap with my smartphone?

Download and setup the MMT-365 app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. follow the on screen instructions on the screen to connect the E-Strap to your mobile device.

Is the app for E-Strap free?

Yes, the MMT-365 App which works with the E-Strap is free.

Do I need to keep my phone in proximity of my E-Strap to track my health data?

No, the E-Strap works and tracks your health data independently. Each time you open the app on your phone, it will get the data from your E-Strap assuming it is nearby.

Does the E-Strap have notifications of some kind or vibrate?

The E-Strap does not include virbrations or sounds as alerts. It does however have a LED indicator which can indicate the mode your E-Strap is set to or its battery level.

What does the LED on the E-Strap indicate?

The LED can be lit up by pushing on the button on the E-Strap:

  • Green: activity mode
  • Orange: sleep mode
  • Flashing green and orange : E-Strap needs to be paired

How can I check if the E-Strap will fit my watch strap?

The Frederique Constant E-Strap is designed for 22mm leather/rubber watch straps with a spring bar mechanism. You need to identify the width of your watch strap using a ruler or the help of a watch shop. If it’s 22 mm wide, it will fit. You may also check with your local watch store to measure the accurate dimensions.

RESTART DEVICE

Switching off the mobile device (smartphone or tablet) from time to time is a good practice. It lets the device recover from bad operation and come back alive in a proper working state.

IOS SYNCING ISSUES

Application

This may be due to many factors, please try following tips in order of ease:

  1. Make sure your watch is paired with the application. Go to “my watch” screen, (press watch icon in the top right corner of the screen) then press button “view all watches”
  2. Restart the MMT-365 application.
  3. Turn off and on the mobile Bluetooth interface
  4. Switch off the device and switch on again

Environment

The difficulties in syncing may also come from perturbations of the environment, please try:

  1. To keep your HSW close to your mobile device
  2. To get away from other Wifi or Bluetooth sources

ANDROID SYNCING ISSUES

Application

PUSHER CROWN

The pusher crown may not be working properly not enabling the Bluetooth connection to wake up on demand.

Push the crown 3 seconds, the watch must switch from Activity tracking mode to Sleep monitoring mode.

If nothing happens (no hand move), there is probably an issue with the pusher crown. In such case, please contact your local retailer.
